Plenipotentiary of the President for Internal Security Management

The CEO Representative for Internal Security Management will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the organization's internal security management strategy. The person in this position will monitor and assess security risks, create policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry best practices.

As part of their duties, the Representative will also work with other departments and key stakeholders to build a culture of security throughout the organization. They will conduct security audits, analyze incidents and recommend corrective actions. Additionally, this person will be responsible for developing the team, training employees and ensuring that the organization is ready to respond to crisis situations.

The CEO Representative will also represent the company in relations with external bodies and institutions, taking care of the organization's image in the field of security.

Scope of duties:

The CEO Representative for Internal Security Management will be responsible for the comprehensive management of internal security in the organization. The person in this position will play a key role in shaping the security policy and risk management strategy. As part of their duties, the person will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing policies:

Creating, implementing and regularly updating policies and procedures regarding internal security, ensuring their compliance with applicable legal regulations and industry standards.

Cooperating with other departments to create a comprehensive approach to security, taking into account various aspects of the company's operations.

Monitoring risks:

Conducting regular assessments of security risks, including identifying potential threats, weak points and areas for improvement.

Implementing actions to minimize risks and ensure business continuity in the face of potential threats.

Audit and incident analysis:

Conducting internal audits and analyses of security incidents, identifying causes and recommending corrective actions.

Reporting audit results and recommended actions to management.

Employee training:

Creating and conducting training and educational programs for employees on security procedures.
Maintaining a culture of security within the organization through regular educational and informational campaigns.

Crisis management:

Developing crisis management plans, including preparing response strategies and organizing exercises to ensure the organization is prepared for emergency situations.

Working with crisis management teams and monitoring their activities in the event of incidents.

Interdepartmental cooperation:

Coordinating internal security activities across departments such as IT, HR, operations, and marketing to ensure consistency and integration of security policies throughout the organization.

Ensuring cooperation with external suppliers and partners in the field of security.

Stakeholder relations:

Maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, external security service providers, and other institutions.

Representing the organization on security-related issues before various external institutions.

Reporting:

Preparing regular reports and analyses for the board and other key people in the organization, presenting the security status and recommended actions.

Monitoring progress in implementing the security strategy and analyzing the effectiveness of actions.

Technological innovation:

Researching and implementing modern technologies and solutions supporting security management, such as monitoring systems, IT security and analytical tools.
Keeping up to date with technological innovations and trends in the field of security.

Ethics and compliance:

Ensuring compliance with ethics and compliance principles in activities related to internal security, including strict adherence to regulations regarding personal data protection and privacy.

Monitoring the compliance of the organization's activities with legal regulations and best practices in the industry.

Team leadership and management:

Managing the team responsible for internal security, supporting their professional development and motivating them to comply with the highest security standards.

Establishing goals and expectations for the team, as well as conducting regular performance assessments.
Collaboration with auditors:

Coordinating the activities of external auditors, ensuring that all recommendations and requirements are implemented in accordance with established deadlines and standards.

Preparing the organization for audits and reporting the results of actions taken in response to their recommendations.

Requirements:

Education:
Higher education Master's degree in fields such as management, national security, law, administration or related.
Preferred completion of studies from recognized international universities.
Professional experience:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in the area of internal security, risk management or related, including:
At least 5 years in management positions responsible for security in large-scale organizations, preferably in the corporate or public sector.
Experience in conducting crisis management activities and responding to security incidents.
Proven experience in creating and implementing internal security policies and procedures, compliant with legal regulations.
Additional qualifications and certifications:
Preferred security certifications, such as:
Certified Protection Professional (CPP).

Physical Security Professional (PSP).

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

ISO 27001 Lead Implementer (information security management systems). ISO 22301 Lead Implementer (Business Continuity Management Systems).
ISO 31000 Risk Management (Risk Management Systems).
ISO 9001 Quality Management (Quality Management Systems).
ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety (Health and Safety Management at Work).
ISO 14001 Environmental Management (Environmental Management).
ISO 50001 Energy Management (Energy Management).
Skills and Competencies:
High analytical skills and the ability to assess and manage security risks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade and influence management decisions.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and other institutions responsible for security.
Knowledge of technologies and tools:
Knowledge of modern tools and technologies used in security management, including monitoring systems, data analysis and IT security. Ability to use safety management systems (e.g. EHS, GRC).
Languages:
Fluent in written and spoken English; additional knowledge of one or more foreign languages would be an asset.
Leadership skills:
Experience in leading teams and the ability to motivate employees to follow safety procedures.
Ability to make decisions in crisis situations and to act under pressure.
