Executive Director of the Capital Group
The Executive Director of the Capital Group will be responsible for the overall management of the capital group's operations, including supervision of financial operations, strategic investment decisions and the development and expansion of the group. This position requires exceptional management skills and high-level experience in the areas of investment and strategic operations.

Scope of duties:
The Executive Director of the Capital Group is responsible for the strategic management and development of the entire organization, including the development and implementation of long-term plans and strategies aimed at achieving financial and operational goals. His main tasks include overseeing all aspects of the group's operations, including monitoring the financial and operational results of individual subsidiaries.
The Director will be responsible for managing mergers and acquisitions processes, which includes identifying potential acquisition targets, conducting due diligence analyses and supervising the integration of acquired entities. He will cooperate with the management board and supervisory board to establish strategic priorities and prepare development forecasts.
Another important responsibility of the Executive Director will be to create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, business partners and regulatory authorities. He will be responsible for managing a team of leaders in various areas, including finance, operations, marketing and sales, and for ensuring effective internal and external communication.
His responsibilities also include developing and implementing a risk management policy and compliance strategy, as well as monitoring compliance with legal regulations regarding the group's operations. The Executive Director will also be tasked with identifying new business development opportunities, including new markets and segments that can contribute to increasing the value of the group.
Additionally, the Director will be responsible for implementing innovative solutions and technologies in the organization, which will allow for increased operational efficiency and market competitiveness. He will also take care of the development of an organizational culture focused on results, including motivating teams to achieve high standards of quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
Education:
Higher education Master's degree from a prestigious international university (mandatory fields related to management, finance or economics).
Preferred universities:
Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, INSEAD, London Business School, Columbia Business School, HEC Paris.
Studies at technical universities with a global reputation will also be an asset (e.g. MIT Sloan School of Management, University of Cambridge Judge Business School).
An MBA from a leading world university is highly preferred (e.g. Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Chicago Booth School of Business, IESE Business School).
Professional experience:
A minimum of 15 years of management experience in managerial or higher positions in international corporations, with an emphasis on:
A minimum of 10 years in director or management positions in capital groups, investment funds, strategic consulting firms or organizations with a high reputation and international scale of operations.
Experience in capital groups and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) - required proficiency in managing M&A transactions, including supervision of acquisition processes, integration and restructuring of companies on a large scale.
Practical knowledge of restructuring processes, including management of investment portfolios, development of exit strategies and financial risk management.
Responsibility for the financial results of business units with revenues above EUR 100 million and for budgeting, strategic planning and operational optimization.
Managing international teams: Proven experience in leading multicultural and international teams, including supervision of management of operations in the regions of North America, Europe and Asia. Knowledge of the specifics of management on capital markets, with understanding of local regulations and challenges is expected.
Additional qualifications and certificates:
Certificates confirming advanced knowledge and competences in the field of finance, accounting and project management, preferred certificates are:
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) - level III is particularly desirable. Project Management Professional (PMP) – certification in project management according to PMI standards.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt – confirmation of proficiency in process optimization and improvement of operational efficiency.
ISO 27001 Lead Auditor – a certificate confirming knowledge of information security management standards is welcome.
ACCA or CPA – additional qualifications in accounting and auditing.
Knowledge of the industry and technology:
ERP and analytical systems: Proficient knowledge of advanced ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle ERP, and analytical tools of Business Intelligence (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
Modern management methodologies: Ability to implement strategies based on Lean Management, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, as well as knowledge of Agile and Scrum in the context of managing complex projects.
International law and regulations: Knowledge of commercial law and regulations in the scope of joint-stock companies, including:
Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) in the context of financial controls and reporting. Data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) and compliance regulations, especially in the US and European markets.
Leadership and interpersonal skills:
Leadership skills: High strategic leadership skills, with experience in managing international projects and business transformations in capital groups.
Negotiation and communication: Strong communication and negotiation skills in contacts with investors, management and key stakeholders, including experience in reporting and presenting financial results to supervisory boards and strategic investors.
Adaptation and change management: Proven ability to implement structural changes, streamline processes and increase operational efficiency in complex organizational structures.
Languages:
Fluent knowledge of English, both written and spoken; knowledge of a second foreign language (Spanish, French, German) would be a significant asset.
