Executive Director of Finance and Optimization.

The Executive Director of Finance and Optimization is responsible for the strategic financial management of MD Global Capital Group, including overseeing the planning, budgeting and financial controlling processes. The key task of the position is also to initiate and implement projects aimed at optimizing business processes, increasing cost efficiency and improving the profitability and competitiveness of the company. The person in this position closely cooperates with the Management Board, advises on investment decisions and actively participates in formulating the strategy for the long-term development of the company.

Scope of duties:

Strategic financial management of the company, including financial planning, budgeting and supervision over the implementation of financial plans.

Development and implementation of optimization strategies aimed at increasing operational and cost efficiency.

Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing analytical reports for the Management Board.

Analysis and assessment of the profitability of investment projects and recommending investment decisions.

Management of financial controlling processes, including ensuring compliance with legal regulations and applicable accounting standards.

Supervision over the optimization of business processes and identification of areas for operational improvements.

Close cooperation with the Management Board and management staff in defining and implementing the organization's strategic goals.

Representing the company in contacts with financial institutions and business partners.

Management of financial risk and financial liquidity of the company.

Ensuring high quality management information and effective financial communication in the organization.

Requirements:

At least 10 years of experience in senior management positions in the area of finance and optimization, in particular in investment or capital companies with an international reach.

Higher education in economics or finance, completed prestigious MBA studies will be an additional asset.

Mandatory possession of at least two of the following industry certificates:
Certified International Financial Expert (CIFE)
Advanced Financial Management Certificate (AFMC)
Strategic Process Optimization Expert (SPOE)
Global Investment and Risk Management Certificate (GIRMC)
Certified Executive in Financial Leadership (CEFL)

Documented achievements in effective implementation of optimization strategies, improvement of financial results and cost reduction.

Fluent knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP).

The candidate should have advanced, practical knowledge of at least two of the following ERP financial systems:
SAP S/4HANA Finance
Oracle Financials Cloud
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
IBM Cognos Controller
Infor CloudSuite Financials
Workday Financial Management

Experience in using analytical and reporting tools will be an additional asset:
Power BI
Tableau
QlikView
Jedox
Anaplan

Proficiency in the above systems should include their implementation, configuration, and ongoing support at a strategic level.

Fluent in English (C1/C2) enabling free communication in a business environment. Knowledge of Chinese and Arabic is necessary for further development in the Capital Group structures.

Leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to make strategic decisions under high pressure.

Willingness to travel frequently and flexibility given the international nature of the company's operations.
