Operations Director
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing all company operations, ensuring their efficiency and alignment with strategic goals. He collaborates with other members of the management board, manages key departments of the Group, such as production, business continuity, sales and customer service, to maximize profitability and improve processes. He identifies and manages risks, and implements initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency.

Scope of duties:
Responsibility for managing the company's daily operations in key areas such as administration, logistics, finance, sales, marketing and HR.
Cooperation with the Management Board on creating and implementing the company's long-term strategy.
Optimization of operational processes to increase efficiency and minimize costs - implementation of tools such as Lean Management, Six Sigma.
Supervision over the proper implementation of the Group's strategy - management of administration, logistics, investment services and cooperation with suppliers.
Responsibility for financial control of operations - creating budgets, monitoring costs and effective management of financial resources.
Management of management teams in various departments - ensuring effective communication and coordination between them.
Monitoring and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) - regular reporting of operational results to the Management Board.
Implementation of innovative solutions that increase the company's operational efficiency and competitiveness.
Operational risk management - identification of potential threats and implementation of preventive measures.
Overseeing the implementation of ERP and CRM systems - such as SAP, Oracle ERP, Salesforce, to improve operations management.
Coordinating activities within the framework of compliance with legal regulations - Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and labor law regulations (EEOC, OSHA).
Building and maintaining business relationships with external partners - suppliers, customers and other stakeholders.
Managing and developing teams - building an effective organizational culture, taking care of talent development and supporting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Leading initiatives regarding continuous improvement of operational processes - Lean, Agile, Scrum.
Cooperation with the IT Architecture Management Department to optimize IT systems and digitize operational processes.
Requirements:
Higher education in one of the following fields (master's degree required):
Management (e.g. fields: Business Management, Operations Management)
Economics (e.g. Managerial Economics, Macroeconomics)
Industrial Engineering (e.g. Production Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering)
Logistics and Supply Chain (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Industrial Logistics)
Finance and Accounting (e.g. Corporate Finance, Managerial Accounting)
MBA (Master of Business Administration) –
preferred completion of prestigious MBA programs at globally renowned universities, such as:
Harvard Business School
Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
Stanford Graduate School of Business
INSEAD
London Business School
Columbia Business School
MIT Sloan School of Management
Certificates and additional qualifications (welcome):
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) – certificates confirming competences in process optimization operational
Project Management Professional (PMP) – certification in project management according to PMI standards
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) – certification confirming proficiency in supply chain management
APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) – certificate confirming skills in production and inventory management
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor – certification regarding quality management standards
TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) – in the case when the candidate will manage the development of IT infrastructure
Experience in working in international corporations, especially on the American, European or Asian markets, with particular emphasis on the specifics of joint-stock companies and managing global teams.
Knowledge of modern tools and technologies used in operations management, such as:
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) – e.g. SAP, Oracle ERP
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) – e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics
Business Intelligence tools – e.g. Tableau, Power BI
Lean Management and Continuous Improvement – implementation and supervision of optimization processes
Experience in process optimization using methodologies such as:
Lean Manufacturing
Kaizen
Agile and Scrum in project management
Six Sigma
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing culturally and geographically diverse teams, including managing remote teams.
Knowledge of the laws governing the operations of public companies in the US, including:
Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) – in the context of financial controls and reporting
Data protection and privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA)
Employment and labor law regulations in the US (e.g. EEOC, OSHA)
Fluent in English (both spoken and written), and additional knowledge of Spanish or French would be an asset.
